Accountant
Pacific Freight is currently seeking an experienced accountant. This position will be responsible for the firm's general accounting functions, including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers, overseeing account and bank reconciliations, and preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements. They will also be responsible for reviewing and monitoring FedEx Ground settlement sheets. The ideal candidate will also be able to assist with the preparation and coordination of the audit process and the implementation of financial controls and procedures. You must be extremely detailed, have excellent communications skills and be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. A BS degree in accounting or finance is required, along with either a CPA or an MBA with an accounting concentration. This position reports directly to the CEO and CFO.

Business Broker
Pacific Freight is currently seeking a business broker to manage the acquisition and disposition of routes and contracts. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in buying and selling businesses, and have a significant network of relevant contacts with other business brokers within the FedEx Ground network. A BA is required and an MBA is a plus.

Insurance Specialist
Pacific Freight is currently seeking a mid-level or senior executive to manage our insurance needs, including business liability, trucking liability, workman’s comp and healthcare. The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of experience within the insurance industry. Preference will be given to those who are knowledgeable about the specific insurance needs of the trucking industry. A BA degree is required.
